Creative premise

Making the story live in the room.

Elizabeth staged Ralphie Parker’s holiday quest as a memory play shaped by a child’s outsized imagination, where family friction, schoolyard dares, and comic fantasy all live inside the same affectionate recollection.

The production joined a large intergenerational company with brisk musical storytelling and clear visual contrasts between Ralphie’s everyday Indiana world and the elaborate fantasies triggered by his Red Ryder dream.
