Cinderella: Enchanted
Making the story live in the room.
Elizabeth’s production drew inspiration from the 1997 television film’s boundary-breaking multicultural casting, led by Brandy as Cinderella and Whitney Houston as the Fairy Godmother, and reimagined that expansive vision as her own diverse, multigenerational Bay Area production.
The staging expanded the familiar story through aerial dance, children embodying the story’s animals, and a large visual vocabulary built around movement, theatrical transformation, and the contrast between Cinderella’s constrained home and the freedom of the ball.
